Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and we’re enjoying the 7 Walkers recorded live at Salmonstock at the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds in Ninilchik, Alaska, recorded on August 6, 2011. What a remarkable sound with Bill Kreutzmann on drums, Papa Mali, guitar and vocals, Kirk Joseph, sousaphone and Matt Hubbard on keyboards, horns, harmonica, and vocals.

We heard “King Cotton Blues”. Here they are again with “Early In The Morning”.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue and we’re going to close with The Back-Talk Organ trio plus guests. We’ll hear Iyono Ede sing a Billie Holiday song, “All Or Nothing At All”. Then saxman, Ian Babb, will join them for “Silk ‘n Soul”.
