John Mayer, Belief

Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.

John Mayer, Stitched Up

All right now, we’re listening to John Mayer recorded live at Times Union Center on March 31, 2017. That was “Belief” and “Stitched Up”. Always great to hear John Mayer play the blues.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at http://kasu.org.

OK now, here’s John Mayer again playing “Slow Dancing In A Burning Room” followed by Wolf! with a “Sock Full Of Quarters”.

Wolf!, Pork ‘N Slaw
Wolf!, Bohemian Grove

Now that’s what I’m talking about, Wolf! playing “Pork ‘N Slaw” and “Bohemian Grove”. Wolf! was recorded live at Threes Brewing in Brooklyn, New York, on March 26, 2017. I love their minimalist sound. Everything’s essential. Not an extra note played.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at http://kasu.org.

Now for some fantastic piano from Holly Bowling recorded live at The Iridium in New York on March 30, 2017. Here’s “Stella Blue” abd “Althea”.
