Now that’s what I’m talking about, that’s Big Head Todd and the Monsters playing three songs ending their show recorded at the Lensic Performing Arts Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Recorded on June 5, 2018 we heard “Boom Boom”, “Circle”, and “Hey Joe”. Kicking us off tonight we heard the E3 Organ Trio play “Jan Jan”.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at http://kasu.org.

The E3 Organ Trio was recorded live at Garcia’s on June 2, 2018. E3 because they feature three Erics, Eric Krasno, Eric Finland and Eric Kalb. Here they are now playing “All About My Girl”.

Baked Shrimp, Have a Cigar
Baked Shrimp, Salmon

All right now that’s Baked Shrimp doing “Have A Cigar” and “Salmon”. Baked Shrimp was recorded live at MCU Park on June 9, 2018. They have an experimental rock sound topped with a generous helping of blues guitar. And they’ve got a great band name. Who doesn’t like Baked Shrimp.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at http://kasu.org.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Thanks to the Live Music Archive at http://archive.org for hosting the concerts we’re hearing tonight.

Closing the show here’s the E3 Organ Trio playing “Whipping Post”. Until next time this is Hairy Larry reminding you once again, blues is the mainstream.
