All right now, it’s Alabama Shakes recorded live at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 7, 2012. We heard “Hold On”, “I Ain’t The Same”, and “I Found You”. Alabama Shakes is a great band with a sound that grew right out of the blues.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet on kasu.org.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. I love live music and so does everyone at KASU. Come to Bluegrass Monday, Bluesday Tuesday, and Jazz Thursday every month for great live music sponsored by KASU. The shows are free but you are welcome to put a little something for the band in the hat. I’m at most of the shows. Be sure to say hi.

Now here’s Alabama Shakes doing “Rise To The Sun”.
