Something Blue – Natural
Spasso, Route 66
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Spasso, Girl From Ipanema
Spasso, Moondance
All right now, we’re listening to Spasso, recorded live at Barnard Griffin Winery in Richland, Washington, on February 1, 2014. We heard “Route 66”, “Girl From Ipanema”, and “Moondance”. I love their clean sound and their American Classics repertoire.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry host of Something Blue. Thanks to the Live Music Archive at archive.org for hosting the concerts we’re hearing tonight. Now here’s Spasso doing “Midnight Hour”.
Spasso, Midnight Hour
Spasso, Spooky
Oh yeah, it’s Spasso, live, singing a rock favorite, “Spooky”. I’ve got three more from this great band. Here’s “You Make Me Feel Like A Natural Woman”, “Big Black Horse And A Cherry Tree”, and “Rikki Don’t Lose That Number”.

Eilen Jewell, Warning Sign
Eilen Jewell, Bang Bang Bang
Now that’s what I’m talking about. It’s Eilen Jewell singing a rather humorous song she wrote called “Bang Bang Bang”. Before that we heard “Warning Sign”. These songs were recorded live at Spitalkeller in Offenburg, Germany, on March 24, 2013. She’s a major talent with a great band and she’s always on tour. Now from the same concert here she is doing a Reverend Gary Davis song, “Twelve Gates To The City”.

Eilen Jewell, Too Hot To Sleep
And that’s Eilen Jewell, “Too Hot To Sleep”, exactly what I was thinking.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
