From The Archive January 10, 2021 – Hairy Larry and The Flying Hungarians – “Sneakin’ Round”

Thanks Marty, this week I’m going to feature my family band, Hairy Larry and The Flying Hungarians.

We are primarily a live band playing at the bandshell, the church, and other local venues. In the fall of 2008 we recorded the “Blues For Peace” album at HairyLarryLand. I’m a microphone collector and in the liner notes I wrote “The guiding principal was to produce a vintage sound going back to the fifties … Vintage microphones were used throughout the CD…”. Now here I am singing “Sneakin’ Round” with my sons, Kier Heyl on drums and Carl Heyl on bass.

And that’s “Sneakin’ Round” a song I wrote and recorded with my sons, Kier and Carl. It was released on our “Blues For Peace album and is licensed with a Creative Commons free culture license like all the songs on this weeks show.
