Brandon Moore Big Band, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Josh Roseman Unit, Frank Mills Jr.
Josh Roseman Unit, Extra Virgin
Now that’s what I’m talking about. We heard the Josh Roseman Unit play “Frank Mills Jr.” and “Extra Virgin”. Josh Roseman put together a 12 piece big band to record the album, “Cherry” with three originals and covers from The Beatles to Sun Ra. Kicking us off tonight we heard the Brandon Moore Big Band play “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” recorded at The 5 Spot in Nashville, Tennessee.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

Now here’s Charlie Hunter recorded live at the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, on March 13, 2002. This concert featured Josh Roseman and John Ellis on horns. This song is called “Changui”.
