Doctor Deathray, The Spectre

Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.

Doctor Deathray, Ain’t Got Heaven
Mosey Beat, Jazz Cabbage

Now that’s what I’m talking about, Mosey Beat playing “Jazz Cabbage”. Mosey Beat was recorded live at Funhouse Southside in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on January 15, 2013.

Kicking us off tonight we heard Doctor Deathray play “The Spectre” and “Ain’t Got Heaven” from their upcoming album, “51 Miles From Nowhere”. I got to thinking about what kind of blues rock Doctor Deathray plays and decided to call it Psychedelic Beefheart.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Visit the Something Blue website at sbblues.com to listen anytime and for links to more music from the featured musicians.

Ok now, coming up next here’s Zero playing “The End Of The World Blues”.
