Will Bernard Projects, Track 10

Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.

Joe Lee, Too Much Blues

Now that’s what I’m talking about, from the “Joe Lee Swings On” album we heard “Too Much Blues” featuring Ronnie Coletta on guitar. Kicking us off tonight we heard Will Bernard play “Track 10”. Will Bernard Projects were recorded live at the Beach Chalet in San Francisco on April 8, 1998.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

Soulive was recorded live at Higher Ground in Winooski, Vermont, on August 11, 1999. Here they are now playing “Track 4” and “Track 8”

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Thanks to the Live Music Archive for hosting the concerts we’re hearing tonight. I also want to give a shout out to Ronnie Coletta for playing such great guitar on “Joe Lee Swings On”.

Ok now, closing the show here’s Joe Lee with “Amanda” and Will Bernard playing “Track 2”. Until next time this is Hairy Larry reminding you once again, blues is the mainstream.

If anyone knows the song titles let me know and I’ll update. It is often the case that older archives do not contain all the information you might want. But I just had to play these recently uploaded shows from 1998 and 1999.
