Something Blue – Bent
Snarky Puppy, Thing of Gold
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Snarky Puppy, Bent Nails
All right now, we’re listening to Snarky Puppy recorded live at the Latchis Theater in Brattleboro, Vermont, on March 15, 2014. That was “Thing Of Gold” and “Bent Nails”. What a great jazz band bringing us their original sounds.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue, and I’ve got two more songs for you from this great concert. Here’s Snarky Puppy with “Tio Macaco” and “Sleeper”.

The Craig Pedersen Quartet – Monkish
The Craig Pedersen Quartet – Clothesline
Now that’s what I’m talking about. It’s the Craig Pedersen Quartet doing “Clothesline”. Before that we heard “Monkish”. The Craig Pedersen Quartet was recorded live at Raw Sugar Cafe in Ottawa, Ontario, on January 10, 2014. Amazing horn work from Craig Pedersen on trumpet and Linsey Wellman, alto sax and bass clarinet. And his rhythm section is Joel Kerr, bass and Eric Thibodeau, drums.
