The Karl Denson Trio, Break Me Down
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
The Karl Denson Trio, Won’t Somebody
Oh yeah, it’s the Karl Denson Trio recorded live on November 23, 2007, at Winston’s in San Diego, California. We heard “Break Me Down” and “Won’t Somebody”. I’ve also played his current touring band, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, but I still love these older jazz trio recordings.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

Now from the same concert here’s the Karl Denson Trio again playing “Intuition”.

On the One, Tuesday Night
Now that’s what I’m talking about. It’s On The One playing “Tuesday Night”. They were recorded live at The Jazzhaus in Lawrence, Kansas, on November 13, 2008. I love the sax and their funky fusion sound.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
