Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for
you.
Chris Stevens, AM Blues
JD Taylor, Cocomo
Now that’s what I’m talking about, JD Taylor singing “Cocomo” from his
album, “The Coldwater Sessions”. Before that we heard Chris “Stinger”
Stevens play “AM Blues”, a feeling that comes to most of us every
morning. And kicking us off tonight Roger Hurricane Wilson sang a
slightly updated “Eve Of Destruction”, a protest song from the sixties
that remains topical today.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the
internet at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue and I get email. In fact every
song I’m playing tonight came in my email just for Something Blue. If
you have songs for the show visit the Something Blue website at
sbblues.com and click Contact Hairy Larry on the menu. Inquiring ears
want to hear.
Ok now, here’s Christopher Sean playing “The Kind Of Love That
Would Not End”, followed by the Rodger Montgomery Blues Band doing
“Blues Dont Bother Me” and “Compost King” from their “Compost King”
album.

Closing the show we’ll hear “Liar’s Dice” sing “Don’t Change the
Answer”, Christopher Sean will do “Step Into My Heart”, and JD Taylor
will play “By All Means” and “The Coldwater Swing”. Until next time
this is Hairy Larry reminding you once again, blues is the mainstream.
