Cottonmouth – I Must Have Did Somebody Wrong

Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.

Truett Lollis Band – The Thrill Is Gone
Cottonmouth – Sin City

Now that’s what I’m talking about, recorded in 1982 that’s Cottomouth featuring guest vocalist, Sonjia Fulkerson, singing “Sin City”. Kicking us off we heard them play “I Must Have Did Somebody Wrong”. The Cottonmouth recordings are my latest addition to the Something Blue Archives. Thanks to Andy Fulkerson for all his help.

And in between there we heard the Truett Lollis Band sing “The Thrill Is Gone”.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Visit the Something Blue website at sbblues.com to listen anytime and for links to more music from the featured musicians.

Ok now, here’s the Truett Lollis Band doing “One Step At A Time” and New Orleans Suspects with “Swamp Thing”.

Truett Lollis Band – Home
New Orleans Suspects – Tipitina

All right now, that’s the New Orleans Suspects playing “Tipitina”. Before that we heard the Truett Lollis Band sing “Home”. The Truett Lollis Band was recorded live at Darwin’s Burgers And Blues in Marietta, Georgia, on February 2, 2015.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Thanks to the Live Music Archive at archive.org for hosting the music we’re hearing tonight. The Internet Archive is also hosting Something Blue Archives where you can hear the complete concerts with the songs featured on From The Archives Of Something Blue.

Sometimes at a live show magic happens. Like when the New Orleans Suspects featured the trombones from Bonerama and Bill Payne and Fred Tackett of Little Feat sang “Sneakin’ Sally Through The Alley”. Sound too good to be true? Well, here we go.
