George Hinds, Pancho And Lefty
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Bottoms Up Blues Gang, Hope and Pray
Bottoms Up Blues Gang, Got To Make A Change Blues
Now that’s what I’m talking about. Recorded on June 10, 2007, at the Craighead Forest Bandshell that’s The Bottoms Up Blues Gang singing “Hope and Pray” and “Got To Make A Change Blues”. Kicking us off tonight we heard George Hinds sing “Pancho and Lefty” recorded at the bandshell one week earlier on June 3, 2007.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Visit the Something Blue website at sbblues.com to listen anytime and for links to more songs by the featured musicians.
Ok now, here’s George doing a medley of “Vincent” and “American Pie” followed by Doug Hendrix playing “Imagine” and David Dellacroce doing “California, Pennsylvania”. Yes, I checked on the internet and there is a town named California in Pennsylvania.

And that’s Doug Hendrix, also recorded on June 3, 2007, at the bandshell. He sang his own song, “Working Folk Blues” and earlier “Don’t Stop”. We also heard The Bottoms Up Blues Gang sing “Work Work Work Baby” and George did “Cherokee Fiddle”.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. I met David Dellacroce on Mastodon. I love his guitar work and he submitted three long form blues guitar instrumentals by email. Contact me at the Something Blue website, sbblues.com, if you have music for Something Blue.
David Dellacroce – Trying Blue
Now, closing the show here’s David Dellacroce playing “Trying Blue” and “B”. Until next time this is Hairy Larry reminding you once again, blues is the mainstream.
