Snarky Puppy – As You Are But Not As You Were
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Soulive – Cabriolet
Now that’s what I’m talking about. That’s Soulive playing “Cabriolet”. Soulive was recorded at the Ardmore Music Hall in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, on April 25, 2026. They are an organ trio featuring Eric Krassno on guitar, Neal Evans on Hammond B3, and Alan Evans on drums.
Kicking us off tonight we heard Snarky Puppy play “As You Are But Not As You Were”.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, Saturday nights at 10:00 Central on 91.9 FM and streaming at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Visit the Something Blue website at sbblues.com to listen anytime and for links to the concerts we’re hearing tonight. There’s no music like live music, it’s not just better it’s a whole different experience. I love going out to hear live music and I love playing concerts recorded live on Something Blue.
For an enjoyable night out the best way to support local music is to go see your friends play. I always have a great time when I do.
Coming up next here’s Soulive playing “Hat Trick”.

Snarky Puppy – Old Man
Soulive – Baby Jupiter
All right now, that’s Soulive playing “Baby Jupiter”. Before that Snarky Puppy played a Neal Young song, “Old Man”. Snarky Puppy was recorded live at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, on April 26, 2026. Michael League started Snarky Puppy when he was taking jazz bass at the University Of North Texas.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, Saturday nights at 10:00 Central on 91.9 FM and streaming at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Thanks to the Live Music Archive at archive.org for hosting the concerts we’re hearing tonight. It’s because of the tapers recording live music and posting it to the Live Music Archive that we are able to hear Soulive and Snarky Puppy concerts just a couple of weeks after their performance.
Ok now, closing the show here’s a song Michael League wrote called “What About Me?”.
