Neneh Cherry was the stepdaughter of Don Cherry. Marshall Allen played with Sun Ra since the fifties. “Elliptical Orbits” was recorded in 1965. Marshall Allen led the Arkestra since 1995. Then, two days after his 100th birthday, Marshall Allen started recording “New Dawn”, his debut solo album. All free jazz pioneers.
