Jazz Writer’s Big Band, Hardly Groovin
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Common Time, Mr. PC

“Mercy, Mercy, Mercy” was played by Copyright Infringement on July 13, 2018 at the Delta Jazz Workshop. Before that we heard the Jazz Writer’s Big Band do “Hardly Groovin” and Common Time played “Mr. PC”. The whole show tonight was recorded at the Delta Jazz Workshop, a yearly program devoted to Jazz education made available to area students and organised by Dr. Ken Carroll, director of Jazz Studies at ASU.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

They performed on July 10, 2018 and we’ll hear them play “There Will Never Be Another You” and “Recordame”. Playing with them were Joseph Curtis, trumpet and Cody Ballard, sax. Then we’ll hear the Jazz Writer’s Big Band play “I’ve Never Been In Love Before”.
