Rob Beaulieu Band, Sweet Marie

Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.

Glass Pony, North Bound

Now that’s what I’m talking about. Glass Pony, “North Bound”. Glass Pony was recorded live at Plank Road Plateau in Troy, New York, on June 25, 2022. Kicking us off tonight and recorded at the same festival we heard the Rob Beaulieu Band sing “Sweet Marie”.

Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Visit the Something blue website at sbblues.com to listen anytime.

A State Of Grace was the praise band at the Wesley, here at ASU. They played for us at Blues Fest on September 6, 1998. Here they are now with “For The Lord Is A Righteous God” and “Go And Sin No More”. Then we’ll hear Glass Pony “Check It Again”.

I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Thanks to the Live Music Archive at archive.org and the archives of Something Blue for providing the concerts we’re hearing tonight.

OK now, closing the show here’s Glass Pony with “Daydream”. Until next time this is Hairy Larry reminding you once again, blues is the mainstream.
