Alan Holdsworth In 1983
John Shepherd, Poor Boy
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
John Shepherd, Humboogie
Alan Holdsworth, Where Is One
Now that’s what I’m talking about, Alan Holdsworth playing “Where Is One” recorded live in 1983. Before that we heard John Shepherd do “Poor Boy” and “Humboogie” from his album “So Low”. I recorded John at HairyLarryLand with him performing solo, singing and playing guitar through his Pignose. Hence the name of the album, “So Low”, get it?
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
