DLO3, Hole In One
Welcome to Something Blue. I’m Hairy Larry and I’ve got the blues, for you.
Johannes Wallmann, Wookie’s Groove
DLO3, Right Place, Right Time
Now that’s what I’m talking about. That’s DLO3 playing “Right Place, Right Time”. Kicking us off tonight they did “Hole In One”. And in between there we heard Johannes Wallman play “Wookie’s Groove”.
DLO3 is short for Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio. They specialize in the lost art of feel good music. I love their sound with their blues and Memphis Sound influences.
Something Blue is broadcast on KASU, 91.9 FM and streaming on the internet at kasu.org.
I’m Hairy Larry, host of Something Blue. Visit the Something Blue website at sbblues.com to listen anytime and for clickable links to more music by the featured musicians.
The EJT posted their new album, “Gastronomy Astrology” to bandcamp and all the songs are titled after food. Great stuff with a good groove and also appetizing. Here’s The EJT playing “Gorgonzola Brie” and “Pineapple On A Pizza”.
